Meet 26-year old K Vasantharaja, the founder of India’s first Dome-shaped cafe that has 4 branches now with annual revenue of 7.5 Crore Rs.
In 2015, Vasantharaja was doing his Bachelor’s in Business Management when he planned to start a cafe with a unique concept like igloos in Bangalore. The business didn’t do well and he had to take it off. But he later joined a company and worked for 2 months and got admission to one of the Top MBA colleges of Bangalore. After going to college for a month he dropped out.
He also joined a private Bank as a DSA and worked for 3 months then again left the job and started a street food stall with an investment of 10,000.
Within one year he was able to open 38 branches in 6 cities and made good profits.
In 2019, he again thought of starting the cafe business which couldn’t take off after college in 2015. After working on the plan for few months and designing Domes and the Logo he later got a good team and successfully opened the first branch of The Dome Cafe in Nagarbhavi, Bangalore
